Hi, my name is Justine, and I am a Funeral Director Assistant here at French.

I have family from various little towns in our beautiful state of New Mexico, from Belen to Moriarty to Peñasco. I was born here in Albuquerque, spent a couple of years in Santa Fe, and then found my way back home here.

I graduated from UNM in 2022 with a BA in English and a minor in Philosophy. I went on to work for a city senior center in the NE Heights and then spent a year substituting at middle schools throughout the city. I also worked at an art store during these times. When I am not working, I enjoy jogging outside, discovering new music, and spending time with my family, friends, and grey cat as much as possible.

Through these experiences with people, I became witness to the profound impact that people have on one another. When it comes time for us to say goodbye to someone we love, I believe it is a time to come together as a community and hold each other up, but also a time to introspect and honor the way we process loss inside.

I have been with French for almost a year. I currently have plans to go to mortuary school, and I am learning more and more every day.
