Veronica Gabaldon

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Veronica Gabaldon, 70, on Friday, May 12, 2023. Veronica was born and raised in Colton, California but spent the most of her life in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her loving husband, Benjamin Gabaldon. Veronica loved her two dogs Toby and Coco. Coco will miss her very much.

Veronica worked for New Mexico Department of Health for 37 years. She had many friends, co workers that admired and loved her. She loved her job so much that she never wanted to retire.

Veronica was preceded in death by her loving husband, Benjamin Gabaldon; her wonderful parents, Gabriel Orona and Guadalupe Suchil Orona; and her three siblings Joel Orona, Yvonne Orona and Magdalena "Lena" Dietiker Bradley. She is survived by her siblings, Yolanda Ramos (Joe), Patricia Moreno (Louie), Guadalupe Archuleta (Boyd), Esmeralda Lukenbill, Moses Orona and Noah Orona. She has many surviving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

There will be a Service for Veronica from 10:00- 12:00 at FRENCH- University, with a reception to follow.
