Thelma K. Johnson

Thelma K. Johnson, 93, died while surrounded by family at her home, Thursday morning on July 22, 2021.

She was born in Colorado City, Texas, one of Ben and Martha Belle Duke’s four children.  She has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1998.  She is survived by her four daughters, Sherry Gell of St. Cloud, Florida, Barbara Stewart and husband Bob of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Becky Oliphant of Tucson, Arizona, Donna Pierce and husband Eric of Tucson, Arizona; one son, Stacy Ross and wife Paige of Farmington, New Mexico; 5 grandkids; 12 great-grandkids; and one brother, Benny Duke of Apache Junction, Arizona; and many friends at The Meadows.

Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, LeeRoy Johnson; and one daughter, Debbie Ross.

The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas with Pastor Perry Floyd officiating.  The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Ty Hutchinson, Stacy Ross, Jay Herron, Eric Pierce, Jenni Martin and Zachary Hutchinson.
