Susan Barbara (Ravin) Beetem

February 1, 1952 — July 16, 2021

Susan "Sue" Barbara Beetem, known for her joyful spirit and love for others, passed away on July 16th at the age of 69.

Sue, a resident of Albuquerque for 38 years, was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. She truly loved her career of more than 40 years as a nurse, and in her early 60s earned a master's certificate in Healthcare Leadership from Cornell University.

Mom, wife, widow, Grammy, sister, cousin, auntie, friend, and dog mom, she loved to travel, sing, dance, and collect and create art. She also loved being active with biking, skiing, boating, hot air ballooning, going to movies, and spending time with loved ones.

Her most prized possessions were her two children and five grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Tony Todisco, together 17 years; son Gregory Max Beetem (wife Wendy); daughter Stefanie Kaplan (husband Doug); five grandchildren Jeffrey, Victor, Izzy, Jay, and Jett; four stepchildren, dog Dixie, cousins, sister-in-law, nephews, and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Jeff Beetem, and her parents Max and Mollie.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 30th, at 3:00pm at FRENCH-Wyoming. A link to the live-stream broadcast of the service will be accessible by clicking HERE
