Shauna Diane Ferguson

Shauna Ferguson, 50, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away from a hard-fought battle with cancer on Monday, March 9, 2020, at her home in Albuquerque, NM.

There will be a Celebration of Life Saturday, June 27, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Grants Church of Christ in Grants, NM.

Shauna was born in Albuquerque NM to Jerry and Sherian Killough on April 14, 1969.  Shauna was raised in Grants, NM where she graduated high school, married Tony Ferguson, and raised her boys. She got an associate's degree from NMSU. Shauna worked at several family businesses- Service Printing and Office Supply, Special T’s, and Eagle Motors. After she moved to Albuquerque, she worked at Fidelity Investments. She was a devoted daughter, mom and grandma. Shauna was known for her love for family, her love for God, and gentle and loyal nature. Shauna loved spending time with her sons and grandchildren, the outdoors, camping with her family, hiking, walking her dog in the Bosque, and going to Isotopes baseball games.

While we mourn deeply our loss here on Earth, there was great rejoicing in heaven as she was reunited with a host of loved ones who went on to heaven before her including her father, Jerry Killough; uncle, Allen Killough; aunt, Connie Killough; and uncle, Larry Killough.

Shauna is survived by sons, Steven Ferguson and Daniel Ferguson; grandchildren, Lilly and Logan Ferguson; mother, Sherian Killough; brother Travis and his wife Barbara Killough; sister, Tawnya and her husband Clayton Thayer; brother, Kevin and his wife Lana Killough; and a host of nephews, nieces, and extended family who loved her dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) for Children, nmkidsmatter.org .

The family of Shauna wishes to extend our thanks to her good friend, Tom McClung who was a tremendous blessing to Shauna through her battle with cancer.
