My deepest condolences to the Zamora and Peterson families. My thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult days. Wish I could be there to offer real hugs instead of electronic ones. Although she was so young when she left us, she leaves a remarkable legacy in the memories and lives of all who were lucky enough to have known her.

Our family extends our deepest condolences & sympathy to the Zamora & Peterson families. We were blessed to have shared the summers of our youth under the NM sun in the pool with the Zamora's teaching children how to swim. Samantha was an amazing teacher who impacted all those she crossed paths with in life. We will always cherish her loving smile, compassion for others & her zest for life. Peace in Heaven Sam. She was such a beautiful, funny girl and a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, sister & auntie. We know your hearts are broken and pray the Lord will comfort you and give you peace during this time. There really are no words. Know how much we love you, Chris & Rebecca

We can't even begin to express our shock and sadness over Samantha's passing. She was always a ray of sunshine with a ready smile and a contagious laugh. To my daughter, Ellie, Samantha was someone awesome and amazing who came to town every summer and was only a phone call or text away the rest of the year if she needed a word of encouragement or a pep talk for swim team. For Ellie, getting to be Samantha's student, then demonstrator and finally become her helper was something that meant the world to her. Summer at our house was synonymous with Samantha! But to say she was just a coach or instructor wouldn't even begin to encompass what she meant to us and especially to Ellie. Samantha's compassion and love for each child that she taught was so evident. She made my kids feel strong, confident, and proud not just in the water, but in life. Ellie relished the long summer days spent with Samantha and Alex both in and out of the pool. Samantha will always have very special place in our hearts but especially with Ellie. Right now the pain is so raw but I pray with time that every time she, or one of Samantha's students, does a perfect dive or masters a new stroke they will smile thinking of their amazing instructor who loved them all so much and wanted them to be their very best. Our deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to Donavan, Alex, Katalina, Randy and Mr. and Mrs. Zamora. It was always so apparent the love and bond you all shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm so saddened by Samantha's passing. I have wonderful memories of her from high school, where she was one of the first people to make me feel welcome at a new school with her infectious smile and warm manner. She always brightened my day, and I'll never forget a Halloween movie-fest sleepover at her house with her wonderful family. Mr. and Mrs. Zamora and Andromeda, I'm so very sorry for your loss. To Samantha's husband and children, her pride and love for you shone through on Facebook, which is how I kept up with Samantha in recent years. My deepest condolences to you on the loss of beautiful Samantha.

I am so sad and sorry to hear about Samantha. She was truly one of the most joyful, generous and encouraging people I've ever met. Her love was huge and her family meant the world to her. I will always remember how funny she was and how easily she laughed. I hope that the joyful memories eventually outweigh the sadness. My love goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Zamora, Andromeda, Donovan, Alexander, Katalina and everyone was lucky enough to know her.
