Ruth E. Jones

Ruth Jones, 90, beloved mother, was called to her eternal resting place on October 7, 2018. She entered this world on May 12, 1928 in Cleveland, OH, born to John and Marion Nagel. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Raymond Jones who died recently. She is survived by her son, John J. Jones (Yolanda Howren); grandson, Joseph "Joey" Jones, of Rio Rancho, NM; nieces, Maureen (David) Ryan of Ohio; and Colleen (Howard) Yeilding of Edgewood, NM; and nephew, Patrick (Ellyn) Gaughan of Ohio.

Ruth was a truly adventurous soul. She was the most beautiful person, inside and out. She was fun, beautiful, and smart. She loved her Catholic Faith, her family, and friends. Most of all, she married the love of her life. She loved her family deeply and all those who knew her loved her also. She was the type of person one aspires to be. She loved antiquing, shopping, cemetery and ghost tours, the huge parade in Cleveland on St. Patrick's Day, riding her bike, and an occasional trip to the casino. She was a very loving and encouraging mother. She would say, "don't worry about money, you'll never have enough." She was always cheerful and kind. Hers was a generation that is vanishing in character, love, humility, and decency. We know she is in heaven with her love.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Rio Rancho.
