Rosemary R. Miller

Rosemary R. Miller, age 84, passed away after a valiant battle with ovarian cancer on October 3, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was born in Chicago, IL, to Herman and Marie (Edelhofer) Halper. She was raised in Chicago and moved to Albuquerque in high school. During high school, she worked in the family grocery store where she met and married the love of her life, Kenneth. They enjoyed 61 years of marital bliss. Rosemary worked as a bookkeeper for a CPA firm and a travel agency for many years. She loved camping, fishing, puzzles and her children.

She is survived by her children, Linda Humble and husband, Rod, of Durango, CO, Rick Miller and wife, Kathy, of Albuquerque, NM, Patty Kehoe and husband, Tim, of Albuquerque, NM, Ken Miller and wife, Karen, of McKinney, TX, and Jackie Garrell and husband, Sam, of Albuquerque, NM; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Chuck and Herman, and sister-in-law, Madeline; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; brother, John; and grandson, Justin Miller.

Rosemary was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be greatly missed, but we know she is rejoicing in heaven. The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers for the loving care provided to our mother.

A Celebration Service will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018, 3:00 p.m., at FRENCH – Wyoming. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 29, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM, with Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
