Rosemary Ann Imprescia, 86 years of age, passed peacefully on January 2, 2021 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
She was a loving mother, beloved wife and friend to all. Born in Manhattan, New York December 10, 1934. She married Liborio on October 24, 1953 in Manhattan, New York. She later moved to Brooklyn where she had four sons, Michael, Lawrence, Mark and Peter. After Liborio retired from the city of New York in 1981, they moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a devoted housewife, wonderful cook of delicious Italian meals. She was always smiling and had a "happy go lucky" attitude. We thought of her as our sweetheart "Angel".
She was a devoted Catholic that belonged to the Rosary Society in Brooklyn, NY. After being widowed, she loved to go to the solo club and meet many friends there, loved to dance and have a good time. Rosemary has numerous nieces and nephews in New York, Florida and North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her older sisters, Bernadette "Lucille" Hayes, Margaret Labarbara, Peter Ciacco who was killed in action during the Korean War; and twin brother, Thomas Ciacco. She is survived by her four sons, Michael Imprescia of California, Lawrence Imprescia of Albuquerque, Mark and wife Andrea of Albuquerque and Peter also of Albuquerque; and older sister, Josephine Sheppard.
A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, January 12, 2021, 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11401 Indian School Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112.
Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
