Ramona P. Trujillo

Ramona P. Trujillo, wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma passed away on Friday, October 9, 2020. She was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1932 and raised in Martineztown. Ramona is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Carolina Perea; husband of 61 years, Raymond; brothers, Johnny, Olivero and Phil; and sisters, Ernestina, Mary, Tillie, Isabel and Mary Ann. She is survived by two sisters, Irene and Frances; her son, Ray (wife Sylvia); her daughters, Theresa, Caroline (husband Paul), Sarah (husband Felix), Martha (husband Marty); and youngest son, Robert, plus ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Ramona retired from EOB as a Head Cook for the preschool program. She was a devout Catholic who celebrated the mass daily and prayed the Chaplet of the Devine Mercy to intercede for her family and friends. She will be remembered as a woman of faith, love and generosity. A Rosary and Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 22, 2020, 9:30 a.m. at Ascension Catholic Church (2150 Raymac Rd. SW). Due to the COVID restrictions, capacity of the church is 60 people and masks are mandatory. Ramona will be laid to rest with her husband Ray at the National Cemetery with a private ceremony for immediate family only. Pallbearers will be Adam Trujillo, Amanda Trujillo, Robert Trujillo Jr., Marissa Kimbrell, Felix Candelaria Ill, Nicole Saiz.
