Priscilla G MacDonald

Priscilla MacDonald, 59, beloved mother, was called to be with our Lord on January 1, 2018. Priscilla was one of eight children and was a kind, loving mother of four children, who loved spending time with her family. She loved taking care of her grandchildren, being outdoors, biking, traveling, baking, making jewelry and making everyone around always feel loved and welcome. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Priscilla was a devout Catholic who has been called home to be with the Lord.

She entered this world on December 16, 1958 in Roswell, NM, born to Rodolfo “Rudy” and Carmen Garcia. Priscilla is survived by her father, Rudy Garcia; daughter, Michelle Ramirez and husband, Derek Ramirez; daughter, Sonia MacDonald and son in law, Julian Ruiz; son, George Morales; daughter, Carmen Morales; grandchildren, Isaiah, Christiana and Christian Ramirez, Jared Morales, Chloe Morales, Andres Rodriguez, and Priscilla Morales; sisters, Lydia Gonzales and husband, Richard of Roswell, NM, Bernice Estrada and husband, Ernesto of El Paso, TX, Mary Garcia of El Paso, TX; brother, Rudy Joe Garcia and wife, Mozella of El Paso, TX. Priscilla is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, Allen MacDonald; mother, Carmen Garcia; three brothers, Chris, Gerard and George Garcia; grandparents, Luz and Bartolo Jimenez, Mary and Albert Garcia.

"When I go, let me go, I have many things to do and see. Do not bind me with your tears. I thank each of you for the love you gave me, but now I have to travel alone. If you want, cry a moment but let your faith in God comfort your pain. We will be separated for just a little while. Keep our memories in your heart. Life goes on, I will not be far if you need me. Think of me and I will be with you, even though you cannot see me nor touch me, I will be close. You will feel the warmth of my love in your heart. And when you have to travel this road, I will be there to receive you with a smile and open arms."

Pallbearers are Derek Ramirez, Julian Ruiz, Richard Gonzales and Fernando Garcia.

A rosary will be held Friday January 12, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Westside. A mass will be held Saturday January 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic church at 5712 Paradise Blvd, Albuquerque, NM 87114. Priscilla's final resting place will be at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE, following mass.
