Mary Jane “Emmie” McCamey, a young 78, left us for her next adventure on February 27, 2021. In her typical quiet loving way, she left everything well cared for and nothing unresolved or out of place. Mary Jane loved sports (especially Lobo Basketball), music (especially live performance), art (especially oil painting), travel (especially beaches), legal justice for the little guy (she was a legal secretary for many years), and she loved her dog Charly. But most, she lived for and loved her family. Born in Tulsa Oklahoma in 1942, she grew up in Albuquerque with mother, Marie Teel Rabideau (deceased in 2009), and brother William D. “Bill” Teel. She graduated from Highland High School in 1961, married Raymond E. McCamey in 1964 and had one daughter, Lori M. Bencoe. She is survived by Lori; son-in-law, Dave Bencoe; grandson Troy (the light of her life); brother Bill and his family Tanya Scott and Lindsey Teel; and her dear friends. She is preceded in death by husband Ray and mother Marie Teel Rabideau. Her family will gather for a private visitation which will be followed by cremation. A webcast Memorial Service to celebrate Mary Jane will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming. Donations in her memory can be made to Joy Junction at https://www.joyjunction.org/donate-money/ or Roadrunner Food Bank at https://www.rrfb.org/give/give-funds/.
