Manuel Ubaldo Montoya, age 87, born July 2, 1935, in Cuba NM, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022.
He is survived by his children, William (Eileen), Stephen (Amanda) and Felicia (Pilar David) Giron; his siblings, Leonard (Karen); Pauline (Jerry) Brummell; Dianne Brack; and brother-in-law, Sal (Sarah) Ramirez; his grandchildren, Samuel, Jessie, Nichole, Victoria, Aurora, Carolyn, Gabrielle, Manuel, Pilar, Sarah, Miranda, Marissa, Marina, Jordan, and Shannon; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel; mother, Marguerite; wife, Caroline; sons, John, Thomas, and Samuel.

He Served in the Korean War - Marine Sgt. Sonny loved fishing, cooking, music, traveling and history. A special mention to friend Patsy Apodaca and family.

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at St. Jude Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114, followed by reception at the parish Hall.
Interment will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
