Mabel Reincke

Mabel Reincke was called to the Lord on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the age of 91.

Mabel was born in Truchas, NM to Jack and Sostena Sherwood.  She graduated from Menual High School and was active and supported the Alumni Association for many years.  She met her husband Frederick Reincke in 1950 while he was stationed at KAFB; they married in 1951 and were married 69 years. They enjoyed living in many different places while Fred was in the Air Force.  Mabel worked as an Administrative Assistant for the government until her retirement. After retirement she continued to enjoy her hobbies of oil painting, cooking, and ballroom dancing.

Mabel is survived by her husband, Fred; daughter, Pearl Jackson (Rick); son, Kenneth Reincke (Susan); seven grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families.  She is also survived by five sisters, two brothers, and their families. The family would like to give thanks and appreciation to all the caregivers at Beehive Homes of Albuquerque on Corona Dr. NE, Building C, and the staff at Amber care for their loving care.

A Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 7550 Eubank NE on Monday, April 19, 2021 with funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
