Greg Bell

Greg Bell, age 57, Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 12, 2020, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home.

Greg was born October 16, 1962, in Flagstaff, AZ. He is survived by his loving parents, Albert and Janice Bell; sister, Christina Stixrud and husband, Ted; daughter, Brittany Lamkin and husband, Brian, and daughter, Amanda Klann and fiancé, Derek; his adoring three grandchildren, Brookelyn, Ashlyn, and Kai Lamkin; along with Pamela Bell, nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends that he considered to be family.

He filled his time in his younger years by participating in sports such as YAFL football and baseball, fixing up old cars/motorcycles, dirt bike racing, and skiing/working at the Sandia Peak. He also worked as a stable hand at a horse ranch, as he was always passionate about animals.

He had a long and successful career as a Senior CAD Designer in the Aerospace industry for over thirty years. His commitment and work ethic were admirable and inspiring to everyone he encountered.

Greg was truly one of a kind. He was generous to a fault, so it’s no surprise that his greatest joy in life came from taking care of others and was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Although his exterior appeared to be ornery and rough, deep down there was nothing but a caring, loving, and soulful heart. He enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures such as sharing long deep conversations, kicking back on a Sunday afternoon to watch a Bronco game or NASCAR race, a roaring hot campfire, a beautiful sunset, cooking hamburgers for the people he loved, or just listening to music while reflecting on his day. He had the ability to meet new people and build lifelong friendships after one conversation. He will be sorely and profoundly missed, but he will remain forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, February 28, 2020, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming.
