Ernest Frank Gonzales

Ernest Frank Gonzales, 83, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2021.

He was born in El Coyote, NM on September 17, 1938 but was a long time resident of Albuquerque, NM.  He was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle. Ernest was also a veteran, rancher, and entrepreneur who retired from Sandia Laboratories. He enjoyed gardening, playing cards with his family and watching Dr. Phil.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Senaida Gonzales; brother, Henry Gonzales (Lucinda); sisters, Bessie Rivera, and Ruby Fresquez. He is survived by his wife, Porfie Gonzales; daughters, Vickie Pedroncelli (Mark), Debbie Gonzales; sisters, Alice Torrez (Gene), Berna Nolan (Flo); brothers, Paul Gonzales, Albert Gonzales; brothers in-law, Baltazar Rivera, and Tim Fresquez.

Mass will be celebrated on November 30, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE. Interment will take place on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 9:45 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
