Douglas Reed

Douglas died peacefully in his sleep on Friday evening, July 9, 2021 from complications of heart disease.

Douglas was born in Southfield, Michigan on May 21, 1966 and received his grade, high school, and university education all in Michigan.

After college Douglas became interested in automotive commercial photography and from that evolved managing studio operations at the Raleigh Michigan Studio in the motion picture industry and then moving to Santa Fe and Albuquerque and becoming rental manager at Cinelease Equipment Co.

Douglas leaves his two beloved daughters of Algonac, Michigan, Madeline,21 and Clare, 19. His brother, Peter of Dallas, Texas. His mother, Judy Carlisle and stepfather, Jerry of Albuquerque. And his father, Dick Reed of Cooksville, TN.

The Funeral Mass for Douglas will be Friday, July 30 at 10am at Prince of Peace Church, 12500 Carmel Avenue NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122-- just west of Tramway off of Live Oak.
