Donald W. Petitt
March 31, 1937 — September 3, 2022
Donald W. Petitt, age 85, a resident of Albuquerque, NM passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. He was the middle son of Lionel and Bernice Petitt, born on Wednesday, March 31, 1937, in Roanake, Virginia.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Petitt; his sisters, Shirley, Dora Jean, and Debbie, all of Roanoke, Virginia, and many nieces and nephews in Colorado.
Donald joined the US Air force at the age of 17, making this his lifetime career. He served 20 proudful years in the Military!
He was a member of Route 66 Rodders. He was the proud owner of a 1955 Chevy Belaire. He and Carol took many rides in the car exploring many states like Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico.
He was a very gentle person who will be dearly missed by his wife, family, and friends.
