Denise Elizabeth Selby

Denise E. Selby was born January 1, 1950, passed away on October 9, 2018 peacefully at home. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Selby; mother, Edna Goode; sisters, Marie and Bonnie; brother, Hank and her precious dogs, Ricki, Sadie and Tucker. Denise is survived by her spouse, Robin Hoffman; beloved dog, Callie and many, many friends whose lives she touched. Denise was born in Woodbury, NJ and moved to NM in 1969. She attended TVI and earned a degree in computer science. She started her career at BCMC in IT and then went to PNM as a computer engineer where she retired after thirty years. Denise was a sports enthusiast who loved tennis, racquetball, skiing but most of all golf and of course her much adored New England Patriots.

Cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life will be held at a future date. As per Denise’s wishes, donations can be made to the Animal Humane Society of New Mexico www. animalhumanenm.org. “A million times I’ve needed you, a million times I’ve cried… If love alone could have saved you, you would have never died. In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place no one else can ever fill. It broke my heart to lose you, but you didn’t go alone.
