Charles Albert Swayden

July 3, 1938 — May 11, 2021

Charles (Cas) Swayden was called to his eternal home on May 11th, 2021. Cas was born in Arkansas City, Kansas in 1938 to Wilma and Ned Swayden. He is survived by his wife, Christine of almost 54 years; his son, Chad and his wife, Christie and their two sons, Caleb and Connor; his daughter, Cassie and her husband, Louie and their two sons, Tyler and Chase; and his faithful hunting dog, Roxie.

He worked as a craps dealer in Las Vegas, Nevada and then moved to Albuquerque where he worked in real estate. He also taught Bible study for 27 years at Hoffmantown Church, having influenced and mentored many people. He was an avid bird hunter and fisherman who loved the Lord and was a fierce protector of his family and friends.

Cas leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and laughter and will be sorely missed, but we know we will see him again in heaven.

There will be a time of rejoicing and a celebration of life on Sunday, June 13th at Cas and Christine's home from 3:00pm-6:00pm.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me..." (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
