Brann Dermod Kelleher

Brann Dermod Kelleher born 10-11-1969, beloved son, brother, father, soldier and friend went to Our Lord on April 2, 2018. He passed away at the New Mexico VA Medical Center’s Albuquerque hospice unit after an illness. The care he received there was exceptional and the family is grateful that his many friends were able to visit him before he died. He will be remembered for being fiercely loyal to family and friends. He was an enthusiastic competitor in multiple sports – rugby and softball in particular. He enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduating from Cibola High School, was a combat veteran in the Gulf War and was honorably discharged after 5 years of service as a Sgt. E5-P. He leaves behind his father, Dermod, mother, Diana, of Corrales, NM; daughter, Faith of Denver CO; brother, Blair and wife Faith; nephews, Dorsey and Logan; niece Molly, all of Cary, NC; brother, Kieran and wife Elizabeth, of Corrales; niece, Keely of Pueblo, CO and many relatives in the Kelleher clan and legions of friends. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass immediately following at 10:00 a.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church at 5015 Corrales Rd, Corrales, NM 87048. Interment will take place on April 12, 2018 at 12:45 pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
