Anna Maria Heise

Anna Maria Heise, 83, our beloved mother passed away on January 5, 2019. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Basha and husband Lloyd, Rita Adcox and husband Steve; her son, Philip Heise and wife, Lauren; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Heise; nine grandchildren, Erin Kerbo and husband Jack, Brittany Basha and fiancée Nick Ledbetter, Megan Cunningham and husband Gene, Scott Basha and wife Nicole, Graham Basha, Sean Adcox and wife Erin, Chad Adcox and husband Joe, Justin Heise, and Christopher Heise and fiancé Jason Anderson; six great-grandaughters; sister, Dora Huberti; loving friend Linda Moore; and a great number of nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John "Jack" Heise; her son, John F. Heise II; granddaughter, Emily Basha; grandson, Kyle Adcox; four brothers, and one sister.

Anna, who was born in Germany, became an American citizen in 1963 and was a long-time resident of Albuquerque. She loved boating, camping with her family, her garden, and spending time with her family and friends. Anna was an active member of St. Bernadette Parish and member of the Alter Rosary Society.

A Rosary will be recited Monday, January 14, 2019, 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019, 9:00 a.m. at The Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with burial to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Anna's name to The Alzheimer's Association of NM.
