Alan Hall Andrews, Jr.

Alan Hall Andrews, Jr., age 86, of Albuquerque, NM passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022. Born June 10, 1936, in Fall River, MA, the son of Alan and Florence Andrews. A 1958 graduate of University of Virginia, Alan spent much of his life in advertising and radio station management in Providence, RI, and Corning, and Batavia, NY. In 1989 he moved to Albuquerque where, with two partners, he founded and managed Prime Time Monthly, a magazine for seniors. After retiring, he pursued his interests in cooking, reading, singing, ukulele strumming and recreating vintage radio programs with the Rio Grande Players. He leaves behind his partner, Martha Blackburn; son-in-law, Jim Heinz (Theresa); grandchildren, Jennifer and Andrew Heinz and Brenna Horton. Alan was preceded in death by his two daughters, Katherine Andrews Horton, and Leigh Andrews Heinz. His fondest memories included summers as a boy at Craigville Beach on Cape Cod, being with his children and family and 30 years of love and friendship with Martha. He was a member of the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John. Per his wishes there will be no service. Alans cremains will be buried in a family plot at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River, MA. A life well lived.
