Zane Jarrett

Zane Adam Jarrett, 74, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM.

Zane was born on September 20, 1950, in Cleveland, OH, to Bill and Freda Jarrett. He graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in psychology and a minor in biology, and he married his devoted wife Cheryl on August 19, 1972. Zane was the proud owner of the business Builders Materials, which he eventually ran with his sons Greg and Aaron.

Zane enjoyed traveling the world with Cheryl, attending Lobo football and basketball games, watching his grandkids' sporting events, hosting 4th of July barbecues and Christmas dinners, and spending time with family and friends. Zane was a loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was loved by everyone who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.

Zane is survived by his lovely wife of 53 years, Cheryl, and his sons Aaron (Ashley) and Greg (Shanna), as well as 3 grandsons, Conner, Joshua, and Caleb, and one granddaughter, Lilly. Zane is also survived by his mother Freda, sisters Nancy Gorman and Kay Grady, brother Danny Jarrett, and their families.

A memorial service will be held on Zane's 75th birthday, on Saturday September 20, 2025, at 11:00 am at French-Wyoming.
