Yayoi Mariko Thomas

Yayoi Mirako Thomas, 86, died Wednesday, March 27, 2019, with her family around her. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Thomas Jr.; her son, James Thomas III; her grandchildren, Gloria, Chivvon, and Jason; her great-granddaughter, Kaia; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and 3 children, Ingrad, Gregory, and Craig.

Born and educated in Osaka, Japan, she moved to the United States with her husband, James. She was a gifted seamstress and worked for Broadway and Macy's for many years before retiring.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 4, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
