Xavier Francisco Castillo

Mr. Xavier Castillo of Albuquerque, NM left this world to be reunited with his Lord and Savior Jesus on December 20, 2020. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Mary Lou Castillo and children Javier Castillo, Ruben Castillo and Mari Castillo; brother Enrique Castillo; sister Antonieta Briceno; numerous nieces and nephews and 9 grandchildren; numerous cousins including George Perez and his family; and many friends from his prayer group. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfredo Castillo and Soccorro; brothers Alfredo Castillo and Ivan Castillo; grandmother Francisca Torres.

Mr. Castillo worked for many years as a long shoreman. His passion was most evident in the music that he loved to hear and sing along with. Mary Lou and Xavier's favorite songs "Nuestro Juramento" and "Amor Eterno" were an anthem of trials of the heart and his passion for Mary Lou could be heard through the lyrics. His greatest love was for his wife and his family. Everyday going to work was for a single purpose; which was to provide for them. His legacy in this world is not the years of work or the volumes of music on tapes and CD's; but rather the meticulous love he was intwined into the lives of others. For each generation of Castillos his caring and warmth will be evident and for each passing generation his impact will be more and more seen.
