Wynona Sexson

Wynona A Sexson, age 80, our family's foundation, passed away January 25, 2024, after a courageous six-and-a-half-year long battle with lung cancer. She was born to John and Nelle Satathite in Albuquerque, NM on March 27, 1943. Wynona graduated from Valley High School in 1961. She then worked for Sandia National Laboratory for 38 years. After retirement, in 2005, she enjoyed meeting with friends at Albuquerque restaurants, camping with friends and relatives, and vacationing on beaches in Mexico.

Wynona is survived by her brother John Satathite, daughter Lisa Sexson, son Eric Sexson, daughter-in-law Amanda Sexson, and grandson Everett Sexson. She is predeceased by her parents, sister, Nelda Satathite Goar, and her brother-in-law, Bud Goar.

A service will be held at French Funerals - March 11th, 2024- Westside, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW at 10:00 AM, followed by a burial at Sunset Memorial, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE at 11:30 AM
