Bill Scorah, 85, passed away peacefully at his home in Albuquerque, NM, on January 14, 2026, following a brief illness.

Born on June 14, 1940, in New York, NY, Bill was the son of William and Mary Scorah. He spent his childhood years in the Bowery of New York City before moving to New Mexico.

Bill was a prominent member of the Albuquerque business community as the Owner and CEO of Chamisa Land Company. A Certified Public Accountant, he was a long-standing member of the New Mexico Society of CPAs and was well-regarded for his professional integrity and leadership.

He was widely recognized as one of the most knowledgeable collectors of Packard and Pierce-Arrow automobiles, with expertise spanning from the mid-teens through the dissolution of both companies. An active member of the Classic Car Club of America, Bill was dedicated to the history and preservation of these vintage automobiles.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Kim Bourget, and her husband, Neil Levine, of Bellevue, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Scorah.
