William Daniel Hickey

William Daniel Hickey, 47, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 in Farmington, New Mexico. He is survived by his mother, JoAnne Hopper; sisters, Leslie Cox, Heather Hickey, and Elizabeth Hickey; and his sons, William Garrett Farmer and Bodie Johnson. Daniel was born Thursday, April 25, 1974, in Farmington, New Mexico to Gary and JoAnne Hickey. He attended Farmington public schools throughout his childhood and transferred to Aztec High School his junior year to wrestle for the Aztec Tigers. Daniel went on to become state champion in the 145-pound weight division. After high school, Daniel worked in the oil field and eventually started his own business, Four Corners Well Service. Daniel was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Hickey; grandmother, Maxine Hickey; father, Gary Hickey; and brother, Sym Hickey. The family invites you to celebrate the life of Daniel Hickey on Saturday, August 7, 2021, 6:00 p.m., at the Elks Lodge.
