Warren D. Siemens, age 79, beloved to many, passed away on December 28, 2017 at his Albuquerque home after a long struggle with cancer.
Warren, a MIT PhD, retired as Dir. of Technology Transfer at Sandia Labs in 1998. He was known for rebuilding homes across the US with Mennonite Disaster Service, for his wood-carving talent, and for his love of hiking.
Warren is survived by his wife of 58+ years, Carol; his children, Melissa, NM, Audrey, NC, and Rachel, MD; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
A Memorial will be held at Albuquerque Mennonite Church later in the spring.
