Walter Ferrell Peyton, Jr.

Walter Ferrell Peyton Jr., age 85, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. He was known for being loving, kind, thoughtful and very generous. Walter was also an avid reader and he served as an associate editor for the Natural Resources Journal. Walter received his Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico and his Pharmacy Degree from the University of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Ferrell Peyton Sr. and stepmother, Mildred Barnhill Peyton and mother, Mignon Yates. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Diane Peyton McConnell, Virginia Lea Peyton, and Owen Henry Peyton.

He is survived by his spouse, Tommie Peyton. He is also survived by his daughter, Kathleen Renee Peyton Anaya and sons, Brian Ferrell Peyton and Christopher Owen Peyton. He is also survived by and siblings, Burt L Peyton, Richard Steven Peyton, James Michael Peyton, and Carolyn Peyton Deal. 

Walter also had 5 grandchildren.

His memory will forever be cherished.
