Virginia Ann Voigt

Virginia Ann Voigt, nee Clough, 86, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, and sister, was called to her eternal resting place on May 5, 2024. She entered this world on January 4, 1938 in Cortland, NE, born to Donald and Johanna Clough. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald W Clough Jr in 2020, husband Ruthyn "Rudy" Voigt in 1995, and life partner Richard "Rick" Roybal in 2023. She is survived by her brother Dean Clough and Sister Kathy Vokoun; son Rex Voigt and wife, Vicki; daughter Renee Gutierrez and husband, Benjamin; son Valynn Voigt and wife, Anne; son Ross Voigt and wife, Annetta; Grandchildren Nicole Espinoza, Jenefer Meriwether, Matthew Gagnon, Tiffany Jennings, Ashley Tafoya, RoseAnn Gutierrez, Eric Voigt, Heather Davis, Linda Voigt, Anderea Voigt, Carla Vickers, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Virginia grew up on a farm in Firth, NE and was the valedictorian.

Virginia was an avid bowler, proud dog mom, and her favorite hobby was to crochet blankets. She was very proud of her 1st place blanket from the New Mexico State Fair. You can ask anyone of her children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren what they would receive every year for Christmas and it would be a crochet blanket in their favorite color or sports team color. She even taught a couple of her grandchildren how to crochet.

A Viewing & Rosary will be held on Monday, May 20th, 2024 from 6-8pm French Funerals & Cremations 9300 Golf Course Rd. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 10 am French Funerals & Cremations 9300 Golf Course Rd and will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be J.J. Liscano, Ross Voigt, Aiden Breeze, Carla Vickers, Heath Jennings, Jamal Vickers. Honorary Pallbearer are Rex Voigt, Valynn Voigt, Benjamin Gutierrez, John Tafoya.
