Virginia Barvoza

Virginia (Nina) Barvoza 67 resident of Chimayo passed away on May 30, 2025 peacefully with her daughter, grandchildren, sisters and family by her side. Virginia was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved to fish, camping, casino, coloring and spending time with her family and friends. Nina has been called to be with lord and will be missed.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Juan and Sinforoza Salazar, son in law Jaime Ybarra, sisters Anita Rendon, Lucinda Salazar, brothers Dennis Salazar and Johnny Salazar and nieces.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Sandy, grandchildren Paul Tafoya (Alejandra), Carlos Tafoya, Jasmine Ybarra ( Manny) and Shaniah Ybarra, great grandson Miles Mateo. Sisters Clara Martinez, Annabelle Cruz-Mendrano, Julie Rubio (Carlos), Mary Salazar, Flora Chavez and Savina Martinez ( Richard) and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
