Vickie Davy

Vickie's lifelong calling was to be a nurse and help people. Her achievements include but are not limited to RN, CCRN, BSN, MSN, Retired from Presbyterian Hospital, night supervisor at Presbyterian Kaseman hospital, Los Alamos Medical Center, University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. Vickie helped design the Fast track at Lovelace Medical Center. She helped with the first heart transplant in Albuquerque at the Heart Hospital and was instrumental in writing discharge protocol for heart patients. Vickie flew with the Air Ambulance in New Mexico. She was a Traveling Consultant in several states. She worked at the Veterans Hospital and finished off her long career in the Presbyterian Hospital call center.

One of Vickie's passions was Barbershop Acapella. She sang with Celebrity City Chorus in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as with Enchanted Mesa Show Chorus in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Vickie is survived by her children, son Scott Davy, daughter TraciLynn husband Shawn Faught, son Marc wife Brigitte Davy, daughters-in-law Terri Davy and Cindy Davy. Eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Two siblings, Howard Stevenson, Deborah Stevenson.

Funeral Services for Vickie will be held on Friday, November 21st at FRENCH-Wyoming Chapel. Viewing for public will begin at 4:30pm, with service to begin at 5:00pm.

Family is requesting for guests to please wear purple to honor Vickie.
