Velda “Vee” (Hooten) Swysgood, 84, passed away peacefully December 19, 2017. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law of Albuquerque and her brother of Louisiana. She also leaves cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017, 1:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angel Flight West at www.angelflightwest.org.
