Valerie Sasser Hall, born on January 15, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, surrounded by love. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Hall, and her three beloved sons: Jordan Hall and wife Kelsey and the 3 grandchildren Liam, Brady, and Lily of Colorado Springs; son Cody Hall and fiancé Arlene Padilla of Austin TX; son Ethan Hall of Denver CO, cherished sister Erin Noel and husband Phil of Albuquerque; brother Pat Sasser, and wife Karen of Amarillo, Texas; and brother Shane Sasser of Albuquerque, as well as many nephews and nieces. Valerie was preceded in death by her parents: Pat Sasser, Jeannine Singleterry Sasser.
Valerie was a remarkable woman with a vibrant spirit. A graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in International Studies from SMU, she pursued her passion for language and culture by studying abroad at the prestigious Sorbonne University, mastering the language of French. Her ability to easily get her ideas across to people and captivating charm defined her throughout her life and served her well in her business of sales in Dale Carnegie, where she excelled in the field. She was an extraordinary baker that put detail and love into every delicious treat. Her incredible Santa Claus cookies were legendary among her family and friends who awaited their arrival every year with joy and eagerness. After marriage, she became a homemaker and administrator for Hall Engineering and Surveying Company, where her organizational skills and warmth helped her husband's business thrive. Valerie dedicated her life to raising her three sons. She brought music into each of her sons through piano. She was active in their lives through their academics, tennis, music, and church.
An adventurous soul, Valerie enjoyed skiing and tennis, always seeking the thrill of the outdoors and the joy of play. She was an active member of her church, where she found strength and community, and her faith was a cornerstone of her life.
A testament to her resilience, Valerie was a proud breast cancer survivor since 1993, a journey that fortified her spirit and inspired those around her.
Valerie will be remembered for her generosity, her infectious laughter, and her ability to bring people together. In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held at FRENCH-Wyoming on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with a reception to follow at 11:30 AM.
Her legacy of love and inspiration will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
