Troy Gregory

Troy Elmer Gregory, 97, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born on December 22, 1927, in Stamford, Texas, Troy lived a long and meaningful life devoted to family, faith, and service.

In 1957, Troy married the love of his life, Anne Gregory, and together they shared 68 years of devotion, partnership, and joy.

Troy is survived by his beloved wife, Anne, and their children:

• Troy Edward Gregory and wife Donnalee

• Robert Gregory and wife Valle

• Diane Roderick and her daughter, Shannon

• Paul Gregory and wife Renee

• John Gregory and wife Shelley

• Stephanie Shirey and husband Jeffrey

He was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews who brought immense pride and joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Esther Gregory; his sister, Jewel Reed, and her husband, Oliver; his first wife, Laura Nadine Gregory; and many other cherished relatives.

At the age of 17, Troy enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces in 1946, serving with honor and dedication. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal, recognizing his service during this historic era. After his military service and his studies at Texas Christian University, Troy built a long and steady career. He retired from the Ford Motor Co. Cleveland Stamping Plant after 30 years of dedicated service.

Troy will be remembered for his strength of character, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family. His kindness and integrity touched everyone he met.

Funeral services will be held on December 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

His legacy of love, faith, and service lives on through the many lives he touched.
