Travis Adams

September 7, 2002 — May 11, 2025

Travis Michael Adams, 22, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on May 11, 2025. Born and raised in Albuquerque, Travis graduated from high school in 2018 and went on to explore many paths in life. Among the jobs he held, his favorite was working in a dispensary warehouse, where he found camaraderie and purpose.

A true creative spirit, Travis had a deep love for music-he played the drums, sang with soul, and found joy in every beat. He was passionate about drawing, writing, and journaling, often pouring his thoughts onto paper with honesty and depth

On November 18, 2023, Travis married Alyssa Wong. He shared a deep love for cars with Alyssa, often spending time together admiring builds and talking about the machines they loved. He also loved the thrill of street car racing and the freedom it represented. Together, they embraced an adventurous, spontaneous life-living each day with laughter, love, and a shared belief in making the most of every moment.

Travis was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Arthur Kent and Emmett Bobbitt, and his stepfather, Scott Bobbitt.

He is survived by his mother, Katie and her husband Mike Heffron of Albuquerque; his father, Michael and his wife Adame Adams of Canton, Texas; his grandparents, Reggie and Sherrie Adams, Dianne Colvin and Shirley Bobbitt; his brother, Tyler and his wife Cheyenne Bobbitt, and their children, Lilah and Jayce; and step-brothers, Justin Heffron and Michael Heffron. He is also survived by a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished him deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Legacy Church East Campus on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. All who knew and loved Travis are welcome to attend.

Travis will be remembered for his free spirit, his creative heart, and the love he gave so generously to those around him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Your eyes saw his unformed body; all the days ordained were written in your book. Before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, God. How vast are the sum of them. Were I to count them they would out number the grains of sand. When I awake I am still with you. If only you god would slay the wicked. Away from you who are blood thirsty. They speak of you with evil intent. Your adversaries miss use your name. Do I not hate those that hurt you LORD, an arbor those who are in rebellion of you.
