Tonya Perea

Tonya Perea, age 59, went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Tonya loved to worship the Lord and learn more about Him. She enjoyed gardening, walking in the sunshine, spending time with her family and friends, and never turned down a good cup of coffee. Her main purpose in life was telling everyone the great news of the gift of salvation through the Lord God Jesus Christ and never ceased to pray that all would accept Him as their Savior. She was the best mother anyone could ask for, an amazing friend and prayer warrior. She would think she was not doing enough for the Lord but her prayers will be greatly missed. We learned through her that God works through prayer. She enjoyed traveling and went to many different places including New York, Virginia, Washington DC, Florida, and Hawaii. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and look forward to the day we see her again. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. noon at El Camposanto De La Liverta Cemetery, Los Lunas, NM 87031. A pot luck reception we be held after the service at 2:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge at 2430 Centre Ave. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
