Tanner James Gilchrist age 37, was a life long resident of Albuquerque, NM. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 3, 2018. A Memorial Service is to be held Tuesday, September 11 at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH- University. 1111 University Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
Tanner held the position of Sales Manager at Remco Bolts. He graduated from La Cueva High School in the year 2000 where he excelled as a 3-year Letterman on the La Cueva Golf Team. He was a dedicated and loyal fan of Lobo Basketball. Tanner loved traveling and attending concerts in Las Vegas, NV. He worked as an extra on various movies filmed in NM, such as “Wild Hogs,” Valley of Elah, etc.
Tanner is survived by his loving partner Erica Sarabia; and puppies, Mischa and Bella. Other surviving family members include his mother, Susan Salazar Hill and partner Dave Wesley; his father Robert Gilchrist and wife Nancy Knight; with sons Brad and Jeff; Jim and Jan Salazar; and daughter Alexandria Gallagher; Barbra, Mark, Jason and Jarrett Webb; Dana and Mark Sparks and Ian and Michelle Hancock; deceased aunt Sue Troublefield, husband Glen Troublefield, Reese and Susan Troublefield, Laurie and Bob Shoemaker. The deceased grandparents Creighton and Fifi Gilchrist; Max and Mary Catharine Salazar. Tanner leaves behind many more cousins who he dearly loved as well as all his family.
