Sylvia KinKaid

The world lost an extraordinary light this week with the passing of the most amazing wife, mother and woman, Sylvia Anne KinKaid. She shared her unbounded joy, creativity and zest for life with everyone she met. Sylvia met each day with an excitement and optimism that was contagious. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Roger KinKaid; her two children, Amanda KinKaid and Heath KinKaid; her brother, James Bond; her beloved pup, Merlin, and grandpups Loki and Herman.
Sylvia loved life, and was one of the happiest people anyone could know. Whether she was working to brighten children's lives at Sierra Vista Elementary, Cibola High or James Monroe Middle Schools for nearly two decades or spending time with family and friends, Sylvia's warmth and indomitable spirit changed everyone's lives for the better.
Services will be held Monday, January 11, 2016 at FRENCH - Westside with a viewing from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. A Burial Service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque NM 87107. Flowers are welcome; however, donations to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org, would be appreciated as well.
