Sylvia L. (Hollman) Fee

Sylvia Lee Hollman Fee, 83, of Albuquerque, NM passed away on December 18, 2017. Sylvia was born November 30, 1933 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Lee (Sowman) Biebel and William T. Hollman.
Sylvia was a graduate of Belleville High School in Belleville, IL and Radcliffe College’s Landscape Design Institute. Sylvia was a landscape project manager and designer. She founded a landscape company which specialized in commercial landscape design and construction. As a licensed construction supervisor, she earned recognition for outstanding landscape site development of dozens of housing developments for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Sylvia was the recipient of Henry David Thoreau Awards for both residential and commercial landscape design. Sylvia taught university courses in landscape business management. She was the author of “RS Means Landscape Estimating Methods”. Sylvia was an avid birder, loved country line dancing and traveled to all seven continents. She was a communicant of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque.
Sylvia was predeceased by her beloved mother; stepfather, Erwin “Pop” Biebel; and sister, Helene (Whitfield) Henige. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Brett of Hodgenville, KY; her son, James F. Fee Jr. and wife, Kaye of Miami Shores, FL; and daughter, Pamela Deziel of Meriden, CT; six grandchildren, Sean Fee, Erin Fee, Daniel Deziel, Jesse Deziel and wife, Chelsea (Roy) Deziel, Joshua Deziel and fiancé, Jessica Davis, Darcy (Deziel) Dube and husband, Dennis Dube; and her seven great-grandchildren, Jayson Deziel, Mackenzie Deziel, Landon Deziel, Elijah Dube, Josiah Dube, Brenna Dube, and Ethan Dube; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd, Albuquerque, NM. A Memorial Service and gathering will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 9315 Candelaria Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
