Steven Speis

Steven Speis, age 65, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. He is survived by his children, Tristan Speis, Colton Speis, and Dalton Speis, all of Albuquerque, NM; sisters and brothers, Quin Speis, Rebecca Rice, Kathy Blanchfield, Greg Speis, and Keith Speis, all of Albuquerque, NM; and many nieces and nephews. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Genevia Speis, and his brother, Jerry Speis.

Steven was the definition of a pure soul. He loved his children, sports, music, and cars. His love of music transcended into creation, introducing an entirely self-produced album that will live on forever. Steven made sure to be at every family function, whether five minutes or five hours away. He was a lover and player of sports; football, golf, and softball were his favorites. Steven lit up every room he was a part of. He held the belief that goodness resides in everyone.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. A reception will follow at the residence of Tobey Cato, 9013 Confederate Dr. NE, Albuquerque 87109.
