Stephen Gilbert Wiley

Stephen Gilbert Wiley, 87, of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully at his residence December 24, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born August 29, 1938, in Albuquerque, lived in Texas and Oklahoma with his parents, returning to Albuquerque in 1950.

Steve was a devoted family man and served as an Elder of Foothill Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He loved music, playing guitar, and mandolin and banjo alongside his wife and son. He was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and loved flying his Cessna airplane. Steve's work career was a journey electrician and was a member of the IBEW.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carrie L. Wiley, of 63 years; daughter, Lorrie Wiley de Navarro and husband, Anthony Navarro; grandchild, Syranda Wiley de Navarro and husband, Tristan Kemm; sister-in-law, Addie Bethoon; and cousin, Lou Kohley. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Wiley; parents, Donald and Ida Wiley; and brother-in-law, William Wernz.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 13, 2026, 2:00 p.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2605 Foothill Dr. SW.
