Stephanie Lynn Aragoń Valdez passed away at age 48, unexpectedly, on the evening of May 19, 2019. Although it seems much too soon, she is in God's hands and reunited with family, surrounded by light and love.
Stephanie Aragoń was born on December 21st, 1970 to Bobby and Patricia Aragoń. Two days after her birth she was brought home to her awaiting brothers, Charles and Jonathan, wrapped in a bright red Christmas stocking. Stephanie was the best gift a family could ever ask for.
Stephanie grew up and lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico having attended and graduated from Eldorado High School. She brought two children into the world, Allie and Andrew. They were the loves of her life and she was so proud of them. Stephanie always said that all she ever wanted was to be a mom, and she did it better than anyone. She loved to cook and bake, sing, and garden. She could name any flower off the top of her head. When she wasn't doting on her kids, she was doting on her beloved animals and making sure they were loved and taken care of.
Gordon Gebman, Stephanie's childhood friend, became the love of her life. They did everything together, from camping and shooting their bows and arrows, to watching Game of Thrones and Vikings.
Stephanie was a sweet and caring friend and was always uplifting those around her. She was strong and shared her strength with anyone who needed it.
