Stanley Gibson

Stanley "Stan" Gibson was born on September 25th, 1946, in Albuquerque, NM and passed away on May 6th, 2024, in Los Lunas NM surrounded by family.

Stan met and married the love of his life in 1969, They spent 47 years together until her passing in 2016.

Stan was a long-time member of Moose Lodge 1517. He also was a Bernalillo County 4-H rodeo board member and worked many rodeos with the youth of NM.

Stan loved to go camping, fishing and hunting. He also loved to go on long rides on his motorcycle.

He supported his children in any sport they loved. Football, volleyball, basketball, baseball and bull riding.

He loved spending time with his family.

Stan's greatest legacy is his family he leaves behind his daughter Ann and her husband Monty, his son John A. and his wife Jeanie, his son Robert and his wife Amelia, his son Cole and his wife Shannon, his son John S. and his wife Carmen and his son Stanley Ferris Jr. Stan Has 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Stan is proceeded in death by His Mother Lila Marie Stokes, Father Robert B. Gibson and wife Patricia "Pat" Gibson.

Following services Stan will be transported to Mountain View cemetery in Moriarty NM for internment.
