Soledad Perez

Soledad Pérez, known affectionately by her family as Mama Chole, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the age of 72 surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren. Born on Monday, March 3, 1952 in Juarez Mexico later married her lifelong partner and Husband of 56 years Fernando Perez started a family and settled in Albuquerque, NM.

As a charismatic determined and strong woman, she and her husband built a life that would rival the American dream. Bringing along her and her husband's family. She will be remembered for spontaneously breaking out in song for the babies to dance to, her little sayings like "whata you say" or "llegó el lechero" and never making plans without God mind constantly reminding us that everything is God's will "si dios quiere" she would say.

She is survived by her loving husband Fernando Perez, children Anna Castillo (Lorenzo Castillo), Maria Gallegos, Lilly Gonzalez (Marcos Gonzalez), Fernando Perez JR(Minerva Perez) and Ricardo Perez(Yanithza Villa) Grandchildren Jose Gallegos Jr, Marcos Gonzalez Jr, Christina Otero(Joseph Otero)Kimberly Castillo, Fernando Perez III(Nubia Marquez) Stephanie Gonzalez, Ashley Perez, Kayla Castillo, Eric Gonzalez, Ricardo Perez Jr, Brianna Cisneros, Lorenzo Castillo Jr, Dianna Gonzalez(Steven Gonzalez), Adrian Perez, Aaron Perez, Ayden Perez, Henry Palacios, Bobby Palacios, Gianna Perez, Great grandchildren Damon Pate, Jose Gallegos III, Elijah Gonzalez, Sophia Gonzalez, Josiah otero and Fernando Perez IIII.

Soledad Pérez, conocida afectuosamente por su familia como Mamá Chole, falleció el 6 de julio de 2024 a la edad de 72 años, rodeada de su esposo, hijos y nietos. Nació el 3 de marzo de 1952 en Juárez, México, y más tarde se casó con su compañero de toda la vida y esposo de 56 años, Fernando Pérez. Fundaron una familia y se establecieron en Albuquerque, NM.

Como una mujer carismática, decidida y fuerte, junto a su esposo construyeron una vida que rivalizaría con el sueño americano, trayendo consigo a la familia de ambos. Será recordada por romper espontáneamente en canciones para que los bebés bailaran, por sus dichos como "whata you say" o "llegó el lechero", y por nunca hacer planes sin tener a Dios en mente, recordándonos constantemente que todo está bajo la voluntad de Dios, "si Dios quiere", solía decir.

Le sobreviven su amoroso esposo, Fernando Pérez, sus hijos Anna Castillo(Lorenzo Castillo) María Gallegos, Lilly González(Marcos Gonzalez) Fernando Pérez Jr. (Minerva Pérez) y Ricardo Pérez (Yanithza Villa) sus nietos José Gallegos Jr., Marcos González Jr., Christina Otero(Joseph Otero) Kimberly Castillo, Fernando Pérez III(Nubia Márquez) Stephanie González, Ashley Pérez, Kayla Castillo, Eric González, Ricardo Pérez Jr., Brianna Cisneros, Lorenzo Castillo, Dianna González(Steven Gonzalez) Adrián Pérez, Aaron Pérez, Henry Palacios, Bobby Palacios, Gianna Pérez, y sus bisnietos Damon Pate, José Gallegos III, Elijah González, Sophia González, Josiah Otero y Fernando Pérez IV.
