Shirley Faye Morris passed away peacefully on the evening of Friday, January 19 in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 75.
Shirley was preceded by her Parents Faye and Jay Morris of Pampa, TX.
Shirley is lovingly remembered by Ed Brummett; her son Shane Brummett and family Monica, Stephen, Becca, Adam, Jacob, Angel, and Vivi; her son David Brummett and wife Becca, and their children Chandler and Caeleigh.
Shirley is survived by her brother Tom Morris and wife Barbara; her brother Joe Morris and wife Patsy; her brother Robert Morris and wife Cara; and her sister Sheila Swaney and husband Rick.
Shirley was born in Quanah, TX on May 28, 1948. She spent her childhood in Texas, and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1970. Faith was an important part of Shirley’s life, and she and her family attended church regularly. As a devoted Christian, Shirley enjoyed gospel music and singing in church, as well as ministering and helping feed the homeless. Shirley worked for 44 years alongside her brother Tom, family and friends at Griff’s Hamburgers, where she was lovingly known as “The Griff’s Lady.” Shirley was a dedicated worker, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her kind, caring, and loving personality was felt by everyone who knew her, and will forever be in our hearts.

Memorial service will be held 5:00-6:00 PM on Saturday, February 10 at French Funerals at the Lomas Chapel, 1500 Lomas Blvd. NE - Albuquerque, NM 87112. Reception to follow immediately after at American legion Post 95, 525 San Pedro Dr. Ste 103 - Albuquerque, NM 87108
