Celebration of Life
The Bourbon House
3:00 - 6:00 pm (Mountain time)
Born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 3, 1989, Seth was a bright-eyed child who never met a stranger. He loved to dance, had a natural way with elderly people, and carried a spirit that made others feel instantly at ease. Seth was always the life of the party -and when there was no party, he had a way of turning the moment into one. Wherever he went, laughter followed, and so did light. From early on, Seth possessed something rare: not just charisma, but presence. He was undeniably handsome, always impeccably dressed, and took pride in every move he made. Seth didn't simply show up - he arrived. Whether he was walking into a room, greeting a stranger, or moving through an ordinary day, he did it with intention, style, and confidence, as if life itself deserved to be met with beauty.
In high school, he was famously coined "Sexy Sethy," a nickname that suited him effortlessly. And as the years passed, his charm, authenticity, and striking good looks only deepened - turning that nickname into something permanent, something everyone simply accepted as true.
Even as a young man, Seth carried the spirit of entrepreneurship. He spent his high school years in the Future Business Leaders of America Club, learning the foundations of leadership and connection. While it took time to find his true niche, Seth was always refining his craft - shaping himself with every job, every conversation, every experience, and every relationship he built along the way.
After high school, Seth worked at the Atlanta-based Cuban restaurant Papi's, where he strengthened the gift he was born with: making people feel seen. He delighted guests with beloved Cuban cuisine, but even more than that, he offered them warmth - the kind that felt like family. Through food, laughter, and hospitality, Seth brought the brightness of Cuban culture into every room he touched.
Ever the adventurer, Seth eventually left Atlanta for Las Vegas, Nevada, where he spent time working in hospitality and entertainment. He served as a concierge for Monte Carlo and MGM Hotels, a server at Bouchon, and later used his natural charm as a promoter for Night Tours. It was in this world - the world of storytelling, celebration, connection, and energy - that Seth found his rhythm. Again and again, he brought people together, creating community wherever he stood, as though it was simply his nature to build belonging.
In 2016, Seth followed his beloved big sister, Elizabeth, to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he eventually found his way into the real estate industry. Towering at 6'3", always dapper, and always polished, Seth had a way of commanding attention without ever needing to demand it. He spoke gently, but his presence filled a room - sparkling eyes, a wide smile, and an energy that made people want to be close to him. It was difficult to turn Seth down, and he knew it - not out of arrogance, but because his heart was so genuine. He asked with warmth, with charm, with sincerity - and people couldn't help but say yes.
Seth's love of people, his rare ability to connect individuals into community, his gentle spirit, and his desire to lift others higher propelled him into success as a real estate broker. Fearlessly, he entered the industry and built a team and brand uniquely his own. Deeply loved by clients and colleagues alike, Seth was only beginning his rise into the business leader he had always envisioned becoming.
Seth is survived by his mother, Sally Kruger; his stepfather, Paul Kruger; his sister, Elizabeth Meyer Valdez, and brother-in-law, Gabe Valdez; his brother, Ivey Jones, and sister in law, Rachael Jones; his nephews, Quinn and August; his aunt, Bonnie Machek, and uncle, Jack Machek; his beloved Pomeranians, Penelope and Piper; and many friends, colleagues, clients, and community members who loved him fiercely.
Seth is deeply missed, and his absence is immeasurable. But his light did not disappear - it remains in the stories people tell, in the rooms he once brightened, in the love he gave so freely, and in the lives he shaped simply by being who he was.
A public celebration of life will be held January 9, 2025, from 3:00 pm–6:00 pm at the Bourbon House, 9800 Montgomery Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM. Friends are invited to bring memories and share stories.
