Sarah Kathleen Sullivan

Sarah Kathleen Sullivan, age 38, passed away on November 12, 2023, with family by her side. Sarah was born on March 29, 1985, in Albuquerque, NM, and was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Don and Kathy Morse, and her uncle, Shawn Sullivan. Sarah is survived by her beautiful children, Finnley Stephen, age 3, newborn baby, Nora Kathleen, parents Marty and Kelly Sullivan, sister, Amanda Small, brother-in-law, Art Small, nephew, Drew Small, sister, Julia Sullivan, sister, Stephanie Bilal, brother-in-law, Zayn Bin-Bilal, and many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Sarah treasured children. She worked at Southwest Child Care for many years, and ultimately became the Wyoming Center director. Her last few years were spent at YDI, as the Management Information System (MIS) administrator. In 2003, Sarah graduated from Sandia High School where she excelled academically, was a varsity softball athlete, and the editor-in-chief of the Sandian newspaper. Sarah fiercely loved her three younger sisters and created amazing scrapbooks and slide shows for all of their high school sports teams.

Sarah found humor in everything. Her quick wit and laughter truly made the world a better place. Sarah loved...her family and friends, God, being kind, funny, and creative, every holiday, giving big hugs, dogs, cats, daffodils, balloon fiesta, mountains, the beach, Altamont Little League, playing softball, Dukes, Isotopes, Lobos, Led Zepplin, ZZ Top, dancing, wrapping presents, her own handwriting, glitter, all things Irish, potato decorating, and leprechauns! But most of all, Sarah loved being a Mom.

Sarah, we will forever miss you, but your magic will live on through Finnley and Nora.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 3:00pm at FRENCH - LOMAS.
